PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg State closed out a three-game sweep of Northeastern State and handed the RiverHawks a 12-0 loss in seven innings Sunday evening.
The RiverHawks were limited to three hits, one of those being a leadoff double by
C.D. White in the fourth inning.
Pittsburg State (18-7, 10-3 MIAA) took the afternoon's first game 5-2, with cold weather forcing a doubleheader. The Gorillas had 11 hits on NSU's pitching staff.
Northeastern State falls to 10-14 (4-9 MIAA) and will return home Friday to open a three-game series with Northwest Missouri.
