KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Northeastern State Women's Basketball had six student-athletes from the 2022-23 season earn MIAA Honor Roll status for their work in the classroom. 

Aubrey Brown, Ashton Hackler, Courtney Lee, Tess Talo Tomokino, Patrycja Pawlata, and Bri Wietelman were named. 

Lee earned Scholar-Athlete status for being an All-MIAA selection and having a grade point average above 3.50.  Brown is one of four in NSU's MIAA era (2012-present) to have four distinguishments.  Tomokino and Pawlata earned their third Honor Roll award. 

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll list, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution.  The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.

Newcomers and first-year student-athletes will be announced in the summer.
