BOLIVAR, Mo. – Northeastern State remains in the lead at the MIAA Men's Golf Championship, but they are tied with two others heading into Wednesday's final round. The RiverHawks hold a 590 score after two rounds and are even with Missouri Southern and Washburn on the par-72 Silo Ridge Country Club.
Gabe Replogle leads the team with a 145 (69-76) and is in third place on the player leaderboard, just three back of the lead.
The RiverHawks dropped out of the lead after making the turn, and it would take a two-under on the 18th pin to force a three-way tie. NSU's 301 was the fifth-highest score in the ten-team field.
Carlos Gomez and
Brett Wilcoxen are tied for sixth place, shooting a 148.
Christian Yanovitch slipped five spots and is tied for tenth carding 149 (72-77).
Ryan Morant is in 32nd place scoring a 154 (75-79).
Northeastern State has not won an MIAA Title in men's golf; its best finish to date is second in 2019. The last time the program won a league championship was as a member of the Lone Star Conference in 2009.
The final round starts at 10:30 a.m. with the RiverHawks paired with Missouri Southern and Washburn.
