EDMOND – Northeastern State's Chloe Bohuslavicky and Savannah Evans have been named to the 2023 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-Central second team Tuesday.

The teams were voted on by members of the NCAA Division II College Sports Communicators (formerly Sports Information Directors of America) in the Central Region. 

Evans was one of the top hitters in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) holding a .406 batting average and 14 home runs.  The junior had a 3.12 earned run average in the circle and was an MIAA Hitter and Pitter of the Week during the regular season.  

Bohuslavicky led the MIAA in the regular season and broke her own program single-season home run mark with 17 during the 2023 campaign.  She batted .333 and drove in 47 runs for the RiverHawks. 

Northeastern State was one of seven teams in the Central Region to earn at least two selections and one of four from the MIAA.
