AUSTIN, Texas – Emilia Cosatto was named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Tennis Academic All-America Second Team, as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.

She is one of 19 selected across the nation, with just two from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) to be honored in the inaugural CSC women's tennis list.

Cosatto completed her sophomore year ranked third nationally in singles going 23-9 overall. Her final ranking is the highest since 2020, Cosatto also finished the year ranked No. 24 in doubles.  

The native of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico, is the third overall CSC Academic All-America for the women's tennis program, and is the 21st for the NSU Athletics Department.
