Men's Golf opens season in Missouri

SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. – Northeastern State shot 295 and 306 and is tied for sixth place out of 13 teams at the Lincoln Invitational Monday. 

The tournament season opener for the men's golf team is the first of four MIAA Designated Events.  Northeastern State was tied for fifth out of the teams competing teams within the association. 

Will Livermore is seven strokes back of the lead shooting a 149 (76-73) and is tied for 18th place in his NSU debut.  Gabe Replogle is a stroke behind tied for 25th carding a 73 and 77.

Cole Waymire turned in a 153 (73-80), good for 34th on the leaderboard.  Parker Rose had a 73 and 83 (155) and was tied for 43rd. 

Brett Wilcoxen had a 156 (80-76) and is tied for 47th.

Rogers State shot a 583 and holds a five-stroke lead over Central Missouri.   UCM's Robbie Sager holds the medalist lead by three shots with a 141 score. 

Teams will complete the tournament on Tuesday.
