SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. – Behind a 300 score Tuesday, Northeastern State dipped down the leaderboard finishing in eighth place at the Lincoln Invitational with an overall team score of 901.
Will Livermore paced the RiverHawks and was tied for 16th overall in his debut tournament shooting a 223 (76-73-74). Gabe Replogle placed 25th shooting a 225 (73-77-75), and Cole Waymire turned in a 229 (73-80-76), good for 30th place.
Parker Rose came in tied for 32nd overall shooting a 230 (73-82-75). Brett Wilcoxen rounded out NSU's five with a 233 (80-76-77) and was tied for 46th overall.
Northeastern State couldn't recapture its opening round swagger where their 295 put them tied for third over and four back of the lead. They would finish 20 strokes back of Missouri Southern who edged Central Oklahoma by one stroke shooting an 881.
UCM's Robbie Sager held onto the lead for the second consecutive round shooting a 213 (67-74-72) and holding off Rogers State's Elliot Han Monteremal by one shot.
The RiverHawks will return to action on Sept. 18-19 to host its 25th Golf Classic in Muskogee.
