37 Student-Athletes named to MIAA Football Honor Roll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State placed 37 student-athletes on the MIAA Academic Football Honor Roll with three earning Academic Excellence accolades, association officials announced on Thursday. 

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. 

Named to the Academic Excellence Honor Roll for recording a 4.0 grade point average were Will Bergner, Dean Odom, and Josh Stettmeier.

The 37 student-athletes named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll were: Cayson Badley, Will Bergner, Devin Blayney, Gabe Brown, Makarios Brown, Erick Caraveo, Blake Corn, Tyler Crawford, Dalton Crumbly, Juwan Dancy, Caleb Davis, Chase Edwards, Drew Elerick, Grant Elerick, Avery Goins, Dylan Goodsell, Dylan Gregory, Matthew Harker, Damon Hinchey, LaKedrick Holmes, Cannon Howard, Sawyer Jones, Loran Kirk, Coltin Knape, Gabe Martinez, Malachi McClure, Dean Odom, Gavin Ragsdale, Henry Riley, Kaiden Roden, Dylan Sebock, Josh Stettmeier, Quentin Thomas, Blade Todd, Ben Ward, Hunter Webb, Kyle Wilson, Draven Ybarra.

Grade point averages are based on before the fall 2023 finals.  First-year students and newcomers will be released in the summer of 2024.
