Men's Golf takes tenth at The Tulsa Cup

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Northeastern State slipped four spots and claimed tenth at The Tulsa Cup on Tuesday shooting a 927 (317-295-315).  Will Livermore turned in the low round for NSU in their fall finale by carding a 74 and claiming 39th place.

The RiverHawks couldn't capitalize on their momentum after firing off a tournament-low 295 score in a second round that was cut short due to darkness on Monday.  Northeastern State finished their play at the Indian Spring course with 79 bogeys and 22 doubles.

For the second time this fall, Juan Vergel had the lowest score among NSU's starting five and claimed 17th shooting a 227 (74-76-77).  Brett Wilcoxen took one of the largest drops on the leaderboard from sixth to 28th after shooting a nine-over-par in the final round and had a 232 (79-69-84)

Livermore shot a 234 (80-80-74), Bliss Newton placed 51st with a 238 (84-74-80), and Cole Waymire took 74th (246=86-76-84).
