ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Northeastern State struggled in their final round of the Holiday Inn Express Classic and dropped six places on the leaderboard to take 15th after carding an 893 (296-288-309). The RiverHawks turned in the highest score of the 19 teams on Tuesday shooting 25 over par.
Will Livermore led the team with a 37th-place finish scoring a 221 (72-73-76), and
Brett Wilcoxen was a stroke back of him (74-73-76) in 46th place.
Bliss Newton who shot a 69 in the second round yesterday, turned in an 80 in the final round to take 51st shooting a 224.
Cole Waymire took 58th carding a 225 (75-73-77) and
Juan Vergel had a 233 (75-78-80) to place 86th.
Northeastern State returns to the course on Oct. 14-15 for the Newman Invitational in Wichita, Kan.
