Box Score EDMOND - Northeastern State held Central Oklahoma scoreless through regulation but a golden goal in the fifth minute of overtime ended their season 1-0 in the MIAA Tournament Quarterfinal on Sunday.
Due to an on-site technical issue, statistics stopped in the 50th minute of the contest and are currently being recaptured.
The goal by UCO is the first allowed by the Northeastern State defense in 523 minutes and dates back to a first-half goal by Bronchos in the first half on Oct. 23.
NSU will see their season end with a 13-6 overall mark and their 13th consecutive appearance in the MIAA postseason. Sunday's match also concludes the careers of
Whitney Gentry and Joise Jarvis.
Central Oklahoma (11-5-3) advances to the MIAA Semifinals in Wichita, Kan., and will face top-seeded Washburn on Thursday.
