KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State's
Whitney Gentry was selected by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) as an All-Central Region selection on Tuesday. The Rockwall, Texas native is one of 24 student-athletes chosen with Gentry earning a Second Team nod.
A four-year letterwinner, Gentry is a two-time All-MIAA honoree and had five goals and two assists for the RiverHawks this past season. She has played in 76 matches during her NSU career and started all 19 matches for NSU in the last three seasons.
Gentry knocked in 11 goals with ten coming in her final two seasons for the RiverHawks.
