KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Northeastern State's
C.D. White claimed the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association's Baseball Hitter of the Week honors Monday following stellar performances against Southeastern Oklahoma and Southern Nazarene.
White recorded a league-high 10 hits and 14 RBI as the RiverHawks went 4-0 last week. The senior first basemen was just a home run short of the cycle with a 4-of-5 performance in the box with seven RBI against Southern Nazarene in the first game of a doubleheader at home. In the nightcap, White's first at-bat was a homer while he ended the game with five RBI, going 4-for-4 at the plate.
White had a hit in all four games for the RiverHawks and slugged 1.235 at the plate with a .556 on-base percentage.
