TAHLEQUAH  – Northeastern State University and Lincoln University of Missouri have agreed to schedule a football game for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.  The RiverHawks will host the Blue Tigers on Oct. 12, the seventh week of the football season in Tahlequah. 

Northeastern State will make a return visit to Jefferson City in 2025, with a date to be announced later. 

The two teams have met six times previously with Northeastern State holding a 4-2 series advantage over the Blue Tigers.  

Lincoln will be a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in 2025 and finished last fall with a 0-11 record.
