TAHLEQUAH  – Northeastern State University and Mississippi College have agreed to schedule a football game for the 2024 and 2025 seasons Director of Athletics John Sisemore announced Wednesday.  The RiverHawks will travel to Clinton, Mississippi on Nov. 9, 2024, to face the Choctaws.   Mississippi College has agreed to make a return visit to Tahlequah on Nov. 1, 2025

"We appreciate the administration and coaching staff at Mississippi College along with the Gulf South Conference for the opportunity," said Sisemore.  "This will be a unique series with the NSU football program playing them for the first time."

The Choctaws are members of the Gulf South Conference and finished the 2023 season with a 3-7 record.
