RiverHawks fifth at the MIAA Men Golf Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Will Livermore and Parker Rose are tied for sixth place following one round of play at the MIAA Men's Golf Championship shooting a 72 (+1) on the Shoal Creek Golf Club.  Northeastern State is right in the middle of the ten-team field with a 299 and is in fifth place. 

The RiverHawks were 15-over on the day and a dozen strokes back of Missouri Western who went in as the clubhouse leader.   Northeastern State had the second-fewest pars with 45 and the second-most birdies with 12. 

Livermore and Rose are three strokes back of Missouri Southern's Ben Marckmann's lead. 

Gabe Replogle turned in a 77 and is tied for 28th, Brett Wilcoxen was a stroke back and tied for 33rd.  Cole Waymire had an 80 and is tied for 38th place. 

Northeastern State will return to the course on Tuesday paired with Central Missouri and Missouri Western starting at 10:30 a.m.
