TAHLEQUAH – NSU women's tennis makes its 11 consecutive postseason appearance Friday where they will see Northwest Missouri in the MIAA Tournament Play-In Round.  

The match will be played at Edmond Center Court at 1 p.m., with the RiverHawks being the No. 6 seed in the tournament holding a 4-4 MIAA mark.  Northwest Missouri is the No. 3 seed with an identical record, but Northeastern State held a tiebreaker for a 6-2 win in the regular season. 

Northeastern State has faced the Bearcats twice in the MIAA postseason and have won move meetings (2016, 2023).

The RiverHawks are 20-4 when facing Northwest Missouri and have lost four of its last five against the Bearcats

Friday's winner will advance to the Semifinal Saturday to face No. 2 seed Missouri Western at 10 a.m.
