Yasmin Hang shot a 75 to pace Northeastern State as they are tied for tenth place overall with a 307 following the first round of play of the RJGA Women's Palm Valley Classic.
The RiverHawks are even with Hawaii Pacific and Texas A&M International on the par-72 course.
Hang landed four birdies and is tied for 28th overall.
Marybeth Bellnap and
Sam Maceli were a stroke back tied for 38th place.
Jessica Parker carded an 80 and
Ines Diaz had an 82.
Northeastern State is the lone team from the MIAA in the 20-team field with West Texas A&M finishing the day as the clubhouse leader by 11 strokes shooting a 278.
The final round of play starts at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
