Jessica Parker fired off a career-low 70 in the final round of the RJGA Women's Palm Valley Classic on Saturday as Northeastern State climbed up two spots and claimed an eighth-place finish, shooting a 601 (307-294).
The RiverHawks' 294 in the second round was the team's lowest score of the season and their best effort since April 2, 2022, when they shot 290 on the same course.
Parker's two-under-par climbed her to a 30th place tie with a 150 (80-70). She finished even with teammate
Sam Maceli, who turned in a 74 on Saturday.
Yasmin Hang paced NSU with a 149 (75-74) and was tied for 21st.
Marybeth Bellnap had a 155 (76-79) and
Ines Diaz shot a 158 (82-76).
West Texas A&M claimed the team title carding a 10-under, 566 score.
The RiverHawks remain on the road and will head to Springfield, Mo. for a tournament on Monday.
