KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sandra Mari Marti earned a pair of  Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Women's Tennis honors on Wednesday with postseason awards being announced.

The sophomore claimed a Second Team nod a No. 3 singles and No. 3 doubles with Tegan Heaton.  Mari Marti went 8-4 in the No. 3 singles spot this spring while going 6-2 in MIAA play.  In doubles, the Heaton/Mari Marti tandem went 7-4 in No. 3 doubles while going 6-2 in Association action. 

The MIAA honor is the second for Mari Marti, and the first for Heaton. 

Northeastern State returns to action on Friday at 1 p.m. for the MIAA Tournament First-Round match against Northwest Missouri.
