EDMOND, Okla. –
Will Livermore landed his eleventh under-par round of the season as Northeastern State saw its season end Saturday at the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional at the KickingBird Golf Club. The freshman landed a 68 in his final round to place tied for 49th overall shooting a 214 (77-69-68).
Northeastern State took 14th overall with an 854 (284-287-283) finishing seventh of the ten teams out of the Central Region. The RiverHawks came into the NCAA postseason as the tenth or bottom-seed in the region.
Brett Wilcoxen was tied for 60th shooting a 216 (71-73-72) and
Parker Rose came in one stroke back of him tied for 67th (71-75-71).
Gabe Replogle shot a 218 (76-70-72) and was tied for 74th overall. After finishing with a top-3 opening round,
Cole Waymire scored 219 (66-79-77) placing tied for 80th.
The RiverHawks were tied for third with 173 pars but birdies were few and far between where they were tied for 17th with 38. Livermore and Rose both had nine to lead NSU.
Northeastern State ends its season with a .621 win-loss percentage (102-62) against its competition and four podium finishes in 11 events.
