GREENSBORO, N.C. – Northeastern State's
Tyson Fourkiller earned one more accolade Wednesday with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) naming the junior as a Second Team selection in the Central Region at Second Base.
The Stilwell native is the third NSU baseball student-athlete in the previous four years to be a consensus All-Region selection and the sixth overall since 2013.
Fourkiller also earned accolades from the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) after pacing the MIAA with a .403 batting average, leading the team in hits (73), and finishing second in stolen bases (18). He also started in all 50 games for the RiverHawks over the campaign. Additionally, Fourkiller earned an All-MIAA First Team selection for his efforts for the spring.
