Brynn Retirement

Hamner retires from Northeastern State

TAHLEQUAH -- A longtime Northeastern State University Athletics member will call it a career Friday with Office Manager Brynn Hamner retiring to close 23 years in the department.

"Brynn has always been one of the first people you see in the department each and every day," said Director of Athletics John Sisemore.  "Many people don't realize how much she has done behind the scenes to assist this department.  We want to express our gratitude to Brynn for her work over the years and best wishes during her retirement."

Hamner was recruited to NSU under then-athletic director Eddie Griffin and has been behind the scenes at countless athletic events as its ticketing manager.  At the time of her retirement, Hamner is the second-longest serving member of the Athletics Department, and will soon move to Florida to enjoy her time off.

A retirement reception will be held in the NSU Event Center Conference Room on Thursday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
