BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Northeastern State shot an event-low 311 in the final round to reach a 938 (312-315-311) for the week, but it wasn't able to move the RiverHawks up the ladder, as their season ended with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Central Regional at Hillcrest Country Club Wednesday.

Henderson State (894) would go on to win the event after a strong final round, surpassing Southwestern Oklahoma State (900), who finished second. Rogers State (907) claimed the third and final spot to advance to the NCAA National Championship.

Yasmin Hang recorded the lowest offering across all NSU's individuals in the third round, shooting a 75 to end the season with a 236 (80-81-75). Marybeth Bellnap wasn't far behind for the afternoon, shooting a 76 en route to NSU's best individual finish on the event with a 231 (77-76-76), tying for 18th on the leaderboard.

Jessica Parker finished second across the tournament among NSU's participants with a 234 (73-79-82), though her total at 82 was the highest on the team for Wednesday and placed her outside the event's top 20 individuals. Sam Maceli (82-80-79) and Ines Diaz 82-78-81) carded a 79 and an 81 to finish the regional with 241s, respectively.

The RiverHawks finish their season with the conclusion of their 22nd postseason appearance.
