LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Northeastern State University Athletic Communications office received national recognition from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) in its 2023-24 Creative and Digital Design Contest.
The organization recognized the department's 2023 Football Poster as third among those in the College Division and Division II. Among posters submitted, it took top billing in both categories with four being named overall between the College and University Divison.
Since 2017, the NSU Strategic Communications office has earned 14 recognitions, with six second-place finishes and a pair of first-place honors.
This year's field of participants saw more than 1,600 entries, an increase of 69% from last year's contest, and included 697 entries from the University Division and 921 from the College Division. Division II led that division with 391 entries, 243 from Division III, 121 from the NAAI, 44 from two-year colleges, 19 from the high school ranks, and 11 from Canadian Institutions.
