WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Northeastern State climbed up two places on the leaderboard and claimed a tenth-place tie at The Mule with an 885 (292-301-292) score.
With The Mule being a 'MIAA Designated Event' the RiverHawks were the fifth finishing team out of the 11 that sponsor men's golf.
Newcomer
Bliss Newton made some of the largest gains on the leaderboard Tuesday, moving up 18 spots and taking 19th in his first event. The Headlton, Okla. native carded a 217 (74-73-70) shooting an even score in the final round.

Juan Vergel were tied for 58th place with a 225.
Brody Newton rounded out the NSU five with a 231 (72-81-78).
Central Oklahoma claimed the team title with an 839 and beating hosts Central Missouri by 14 strokes.
The RiverHawks return to the course on Sept. 16-17 for their 26th Men's Golf Classic at the Muskogee Golf Club.
