TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State hosts its lone Wednesday contest of the season where they will welcome Oklahoma Baptist to the pitch in continued non-conference action for Military Appreciation Night at DeLoache Field.
The RiverHawks are looking for their first 3-0 start since 2019 and haven't allowed a goal in 180 minutes of play. Whitney Gentry has scored a goal in both games with NSU nearly averaging 18 shots per game, nearly triple their foes.
Military Appreciation Day honors members of the U.S. Military and raises money that goes towards the Paws for Purple Hearts organization. A silent auction will be held throughout the opening half, while a special military recognition segment will take place at halftime as part of the evening's festivities.
