TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State's crossover with the Lone Star Conference continues this week with its lone trip south of the Red River to Texas to face St. Edward's and Dallas Baptist. The trip will close out non-conference play with a 12-match GAC/MIAA schedule to follow.
The RiverHawks (0-2-2) finished its three-match homestand last week with a pair of draws.
Kei Nagakura scored his goal at NSU in the seventh minute of their match against Eastern New Mexico on a defensive miscue by the Greyhounds.
History with the Hilltoppers
Northeastern State has not faced St. Edward's since 2011 and has not played a true road match in Austin since 2006. The overall series favors the Hilltoppers slightly 5-6-2 with Northeastern State's last win at St. Ed's being in 2004
