EDMOND, Okla. – Northeastern State women's tennis heads to the ITA Regional Tournament at the Edmond Center Court starting on Friday.  The tournament is to run from September 20-22, with multiple matches taking place during the day. 

Northeastern State has two players on Singles Flight A which starts at 8 a.m. on Friday.  Tegan Heaton will play Smilte Bakyte of Augustana (S.D.) and Sofia Kotliarova faces Washburn's Saajida Razick.  The Flight A Champion advances to the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia. 

In Singles Draw B, Lucia Bontempo faces Natalya Montoya of Arkansas Tech in the Round of 64.   Barbora Havlova earned a bye and plays Inna Serpukhova of Southern Arkansas on Friday afternoon. 

Heaton and Kotliarova are in the Doubles Flight A and face a pair from Central Oklahoma in the Round of 32 at 4 p.m. on Friday.   The Flight A Doubles Champion advances to the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia. 

In Doubles Draw B, Bontempo and Havlova square off against Henderson State at 5 p.m. on Friday.
