RiverHawks fifth at the MIAA Fall Preview

KEARNEY, Neb. - Sam Maceli lifted Northeastern State to fifth on Monday with an hole-in-one on the 15th pin in the MIAA Fall Preview.  The RiverHawks carded a 303 with the senior tied for 13th place overall. 

The tournament features all 12 of the programs that sponsor women's golf in the MIAA with the Meadowlark Hills course as the site of the spring championship. 

Ines Diaz is tied with Maceli for NSU's low round, and Laia Llorens carded a 76 and is tied for 21st place.  Jessica Parker turned in a 77 and is in 33rd, Chloe Williamson shot an 80 and placed 53rd. 

The RiverHawks are two strokes back of Rogers State with Central Missouri carding the low round of 294. 

Kelly Swanson had NSU's last hole-in-one in a tournament at the Newman Fall Invitational on April 7, 2021.

Northeastern State is back on the tee on Tuesday starting at 9:10 a.m.
