KEARNEY, Neb. –
Sam Maceli paced the RiverHawks with a 150 (75-75) and took 12th place at the MIAA Fall Preview but despite her efforts NSU dropped two spots on the leaderboard taking seventh place. The RiverHawks carded a 307 on Tuesday's final round and shot a two-day total of 610.
Jessica Parker made the largest gain for NSU on the individual leaderboard claiming 24th on a 152 score (77-75). The rest of the RiverHawks' squad shot a higher score on Tuesday with
Laia Llorens and
Ines Diaz having a 154 and being tied for 34th.
Chloe Williamson turned in a 163 good for 62nd place.
Central Missouri claimed the team title with a 591 score, beating Rogers State and Washburn by nine strokes. Fort Hays State's Shayla Nordlund took medalist by carding a 143.
Northeastern State will be idle until Oct. 7-8 to play the KickingBird Golf Course in Edmond for a tournament hosted by Central Oklahoma.
