Anderson named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the second time in three weeks Northeastern State collected Player of the Week accolades from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association with Hannah Anderson being named by officials on Tuesday.

Anderson claimed Offensive Player of the Week honors from the MIAA after leading the RiverHawks to an undefeated 2-0 week with points in each match. She was responsible for both goals in Northeastern State's win over East Central last Friday.

The true freshman was credited with the game-winner with a goal inside the box in the 51st minute to take the 2-1 advantage over the Tigers. She also added an assist on the weekend when she assisted the game-winning goal in the 66th minute of Northeastern State's 3-1 non-conference win over Missouri Southern. Anderson totaled six shots over the weekend with five falling on target.
