Blue Springs, Mo. -- Northeastern State wrapped up their first day of the fall campaign at Adams Pointe GC, shooting a 316 to tie for 13th after the opening round of the Central Region Fall Preview.
The RiverHawks shot 28-over for the first round, with
Jessica Parker and
Sam Maceli pacing the field of RiverHawks. The duo are tied for 34th on the individual leaderboard after carding a pair of 78s.
Fernanda Rendon Bermudez and
Ines Diaz (80) are in the top 50, while
Chloe Williamson shot an 85 on the afternoon.
Augustana (SD) currently holds a five-stroke lead on the event with a 296, sitting ahead of a tie for second with Nebraska Kearney and Henderson State at 301. NSU sits four strokes back of a tie between Oklahoma Baptist and Washburn (312) for the last spot in the field's top ten.
The tournament wraps up tomorrow with the second and final round.
