Blue Ridge, Mo. -- Northeastern State dropped two spots to finish their first event of this fall's schedule with a 15th-place ranking at the Central Region Fall Preview Wednesday.
The team shot a 319 in the second and final round, the highest in the field, finishing the two-day tournament with a 635 at Adams Pointe GC.
Sam Maceli finished inside the top 50 on the individual leaderboard after carding a 156 (78-78).
Jessica Parker was one stroke back with a 157 (78-79).
Ines Diaz (161) and
Fernanda Rendon Bermudez (162) finished closely together, while
Chloe Williamson had a four-stroke improvement on day two en route to a two-round tally of 166 (85-81).Â
Augustana (S.D.) shot a 592 for the tournament and overcame a hard-charging push on the second day by Missouri Southern (593) to take a one-stroke victory at the event.Â
The RiverHawks host the 25th NSU Golf Classic next week in Muskogee, Okla. on Sep. 9-10.
