A quick look back
The RiverHawks (7-8, 3-3 MIAA) returned to .500 in league play with two wins last week against in-state rivals. Behind a season-high 25 points from
Alex Hill and an additional 18 each from
Deyanna Douglas (also a season-high) and
Courtney Lee, Northeastern dominated against Central Oklahoma in an 80-59 result from the NSU Event Center Thursday night. On Saturday afternoon, Hill and Lee returned to double figures with 13 and ten, respectively, while
Annaston Brown added 11 against Rogers State in a 68-57 decision.
Both opposing offenses struggled to find life, shooting a combined 40-of-110 (36.4%) from the field and only 10-of-40 (25.0%) from three-point distance. With the pair of victories, the RiverHawks advance to 18-5 at home across the Ferguson era and 6-1 in home matchups this season.
