TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State Women's Tennis opens its spring season on Saturday hosting in-state rivals Southeastern Oklahoma.
The RiverHawks are under the leadership of fifth-year head coach Tim McLane, who will see five newcomers to its roster. NSU has three mid-year freshman additions in
Camila de Michele,
Annika Kleinhans, and Wyoming transfer
Adel Ismagulova.
Southeastern Oklahoma went 18-8 last year and won the Great American Conference Tournament. The RiverHawks went 3-0 in singles against Southeastern this fall at its Rumble by the River IV. Northeastern State leads the all-time series over Southeastern 26-3, with the Savage Storm winning three of the last four meetings.
