SEARCY, Ark. -- Northeastern State collected three scores and earned their 12th straight win across the series against Harding in a 3-2 result on Sunday.
The RiverHawks (8-5-2, 5-4 GAC/MIAA) would find three unanswered goals after Harding (2-10-2, 0-7-1 GAC/MIAA) struck first in the 15th minute. Their first response to the opening HU score would occur just 27 seconds after the hosts got on the board. 
Marco Cornelio found the back of the net on an assist from 
Kash Dunkel to even the score.
NSU would strike gold again in the 34th minute with a make from 
Carl Murch to take their first lead of the match, one they would not surrender. A multi-score lead was clinched with Murch's second goal of the day in the 50th minute, while Harding would muster a brief answer with a strike in the 54th minute before the offenses were shut out the rest of the way.
The visitors would hold the shot advantage (25-6) with ten shots on-goal. They would also own all nine corner kick opportunities across the match. 
Northeastern State continues GAC/MIAA action next week on Nov. 1 when they face Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla.
