Northeastern State Keeps OBU Silent in 4–0 Rout

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State continued its defensive dominance over Ouachita Baptist on Friday night, rolling to a 4–0 victory at DeLoache Field.

With the shutout, the RiverHawks have now blanked the Tigers in eight of their last nine meetings, improving their all-time series lead to 24-3-2.

Kash Dunkel opened the scoring in the 37th minute off an assist from Guilherme Nakamura, and Martin Martinez doubled the lead just before halftime. Marco Cornelio and Carter Adams added second-half goals to seal the win.

Goalkeeper Cameron McColloch recorded four saves to secure his second shutout of the season as Northeastern State improved to 5-3-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Ouachita Baptist (1-5-2, 0-3) managed seven shots but couldn't convert, including an early penalty kick that McColloch stopped to keep the Tigers off the board.

The RiverHawks will remain at home this Wednesday to host Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m.
