INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA announced its third regional rankings, and Northeastern State men's soccer landed at No. 10 on Wednesday, dropping three spots.
This marks the third time NSU has appeared in the Super Region 3 rankings this season, with tournament selections being made following the weekend.
As the rankings stand currently, Northeastern State would play the No. 7 seed Maryville (Mo.) in the opening round of the tournament. The two teams have played twice previously in program history with the RiverHawks claiming both meetings.
The RiverHawks are looking for their seventh NCAA postseason appearance in program history and first since 2018.
Northeastern State will face Fort Hays State in the GAC/MIAA Tournament Semifinals on Thursday at 3 p.m.
