TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State continues its homestand Tuesday inside the NSU Event Center, hosting Ozark Christian at 7:30 p.m. Fans who bring a toy or stuffed animal will receive free admission to both of Tuesday's basketball games as the programs partner with Toys for Tots.

The RiverHawks (2–0) opened the season with back-to-back wins for the first time since 2019–20, when they started the year 5–0.

Ozark Christian enters at 1–4, with Tuesday's matchup marking the first of three straight games against NCAA Division II opponents. The Ambassadors will continue the week facing Drury before returning to Joplin for a crosstown matchup with Missouri Southern.
Tuesday's game against NSU is classified as an exhibition for the NCCAA program.
The series
Northeastern State has won both previous meetings with Ozark Christian. In last year's contest, the RiverHawks led by two at halftime before pulling away after the break.
