TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — The Northeastern State RiverHawks women's soccer team earned two selections to the 2025 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) Women's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team, the conference announced today.
Sophomore defender
Hannah Anderson and senior forward
Sydney Taylor each secured spots on the 14-member squad after the RiverHawks advanced to the semifinal round of the tournament.
Northeastern State posted an overall record of 12-7-1 this season and advanced to the MIAA Tournament semifinals where they fell 3-1 to eventual champion Missouri Western.
Hannah Anderson had a strong showing in the postseason with two goals in their win over Pittsburg State, while
Sydney Taylor paced the RiverHawks' offense and scored the team's lone goal in the semifinal, while adding two assists at Pittsburg State.
