NSU Returns Home for Nike N7 Game Against Southeastern Oklahoma

TAHLEQUAH — Northeastern State women's basketball returns to the Event Center on Saturday to host Southeastern Oklahoma for its Nike N7 Game at 3:30 p.m. All tribal citizens will receive free admission by presenting their tribal ID or CDIB card.

Frybread Factory will be set up inside the Event Center, along with various vendors throughout the arena.

Please note that the RiverHawks will play following the men's contest.

Looking Back
Northeastern State (5-1) suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday, dropping a 71–64 contest at Henderson State. McKenzie Smith led NSU with 18 points and five field goals, going a perfect 8-for-8 at the free-throw line. She also paced the RiverHawks with eight rebounds.

Deyanna Douglas was the only other NSU player to reach double figures, finishing with 11 points. Reese Shirey added six assists and five steals in the effort.

About Southeastern Oklahoma
The Savage Storm (3-2) arrive in Tahlequah riding a three-game winning streak, averaging over 92 points per game during that span. On Tuesday, they poured in 97 points against Midwestern State—the most they've ever scored against the Mustangs.

Last season, Southeastern won 20 games and reached the Great American Conference title game.

Series History: Northeastern State leads the all-time series 35–26, though the Savage Storm have taken the last three matchups. Saturday will mark Southeastern Oklahoma's first trip to Tahlequah in over a decade and just their third-ever game inside the Event Center.
