TAHLEQUAH – The Northeastern State Women's Tennis program will travel to Edmond on Saturday for a neutral-site match with No. 5 Midwestern State. The match will be played indoors at the Edmond Racquet Club.
Tegan Heaton claimed both of NSU's (0-3) points in Texas beating Angelo State's No. 2 singles player and Texas A&M Kingsville's No. 1 singles player.
Midwestern State (2-0) handed No. 11 Washburn a 4-3 defeat last weekend and trails the overall series 19-6 against NSU. Saturday's meeting will be the first neutral site contest between the two programs since 2011.
Northeastern State was slated to play Harding on Sunday in Edmond, but due to cold weather, the match will be played at a later date in Tahlequah.
