TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State Women's Tennis returns to action for the first time in nearly two weeks on Wednesday when they host Oklahoma Wesleyan for a non-conference match.
The RiverHawks (0-4) will face the Eagles for the first time in a head-to-head matchup. However, NSU hosted OKWU in the fall at its Battle Royale I, where the RiverHawks won all five singles matches.
Oklahoma Wesleyan (2-2) wraps up a grueling road trip, playing its fourth match in five days. The Eagles will be traveling from Abilene, Texas, where they faced McMurry on Tuesday.
Northeastern State was originally scheduled to play Central Arkansas on Sunday, but wet court conditions from melted snow and ice forced the match to be rescheduled for March.
Tegan Heaton owns both of NSU's match points this season, securing singles wins against Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
First serve on Wednesday is set for 2 p.m.
