TAHLEQUAH – The Northeastern State football program and head coach Darrin Chiaverini added 39 student-athletes on 2025 National Signing Day. The signing class is comprised of incoming freshmen from Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
"Very proud of the work our coaches and staff did in building the 2025 Signing Class," said Chiaverini. "Our class consists of 19 Mid-Year Transfers and 39 High School Signees. We added championship pedigree, size, speed, and difference makers on both sides of the ball. This class will take our program to the next level! Welcome to the Quah!"
Northeastern State will open its fall season at Saginaw Valley State on August 28 and will play a full 11-game schedule as a true NCAA Independent. The RiverHawks' home opener will be against Missouri S&T on Sept. 6 it will be the first meeting between the two programs since 1958.
