Women's Tennis travels south of the Red River

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State makes its lone trip south of the Red River this weekend, where they will see No. 16 Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville for non-conference matches this Friday and Saturday.

The RiverHawks will be making just their second trip to San Angelo to play the Rambelles, who opened the season with match wins against Seward County and Collin County.   Angelo State went 21-4 last year and has won 19 consecutive matches at home.

On Saturday, Northeastern State will face Texas A&M-Kingsville with the match hosted by Angelo State.  The Javelinas opened the season with a 6-1 exhibition loss to Texas Rio Grande Valley and will see Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday.

Northeastern State has won all five meetings between the two programs.

First serve is at noon on both days in San Angelo.
