TAHLEQUAH - Northeastern State Women's Tennis opens its nine-match conference schedule on Tuesday with Arkansas-Fort Smith coming to Tahlequah for a 2 p.m. tilt.
The RiverHawks will see the Lions for the first time as members of the MIAA and it will be NSU's first on-court action since March 13.
UAFS will come to NSU with a 2-10 overall mark and opened MIAA play with a 6-1 loss at Northwest Missouri. Northeastern State holds a 8-1 series lead over the Lions who are winless in six road matches this spring.
Northeastern State (2-6) will look to flip its fortunes around after dropping consecutive 4-3 setbacks to Ouachita Baptist and Arkansas Tech.
On Wednesday the RiverHawks will host Harding (6-9) for a non-MIAA match. The contest was rescheduled earlier this year due to poor weather conditions.
