HAYS, Kan. -- Northeastern State sits in eighth place at the FHSU Tiger Classic after an abbreviated Monday at Smoky Hill Country Club. Play was suspended around 8 p.m. due to darkness, following a delayed start to the morning round caused by cold temperatures.
The RiverHawks were 14-over-par with half of the second round completed. Brett Wilcoxen headed to the clubhouse in ninth place, Parker Rose is in 29th, Bliss Newton is in 40th, Juan Vergel is in 59th, and Will Livermore is in 73rd.
Rose was 1-under-par through seven holes in the second round when play was suspended.
Central Oklahoma holds a 10-stroke lead over CSU-Pueblo, with eight players shooting under par.
Play will resume Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., with the final round starting immediately afterward.
