TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Northeastern State University athletics department excelled in the classroom during the spring 2025 semester, posting a cumulative grade point average of 3.23.

Women's golf led all teams with a 3.77 GPA, followed by women's soccer at 3.68 and women's tennis at 3.62.

The football program notched its best academic semester in the past decade with a 3.11 GPA. Men's golf topped the men's teams with a 3.41 GPA, followed by men's soccer at 3.29.

In total, nine athletic programs recorded a team GPA of 2.99 or higher.
