CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Northeastern State women's golf team was named a top performer in the classroom by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) in its All-Scholar Team GPA Award announcement Wednesday afternoon.
During the 2024-25 academic year, Northeastern State golfers posted a 3.68 GPA as a program, which ranks 20th in Division II. The honor comes in addition to Laia Llorens, Sam Maceli, and Jessica Parker being tabbed to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team released in early July.
The WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award is given to the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA. The top 25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division I, Division II and Division III, and the top 10 teams for NAIA are also honored.
